A mixed-integer program (MIP) is a mathematical program in which some of the variables are required to be integer-valued. Historically, this term implied the mathematical program was otherwise linear, so older papers (and some recent ones) mean this, but most now refer to the following:

MILP: Mixed integer linear program
MINLP: Mixed integer nonlinear program
MIQP: Mixed integer quadratic program
Also see combinatorial program.
