# Strict interior

Jump to: navigation, search

Let $LaTeX: \textstyle x \in X : g(x) \le b$ be the level set of $LaTeX: g.$ Then, its strict interior is $LaTeX: \textstyle x \in X : g(x) < b.$ (This is not to be confused with the relative interior or the set interior - see Myths and Counter Examples in Mathematical Programming.)
